Gavin Essex

FOUNDER &
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Gavin is a Chartered Surveyor who began his career in 1989 and worked extensively in the London property market, where he was a partner at Allsop & Co. & Montagu Evans. His passion for property development led him to set up Gage Properties in 2005, and the business grew rapidly and gained a reputation as a major player on the London property scene.

Gavin is regarded as an expert on the London property market and has been asked to speak on the subject at several key events and is often quoted in the press. He is also a keen athlete having run several London marathons, and more recently took part in the Dextro ITU World Championship Triathlon.

His other interests include the Arts, Scuba Diving and Bridge.

Rafael Baiao

Director

Rafael began his property career working and managing a boutique property consultancy covering Central London and has over 10 years of extensive knowledge of real estate in London and the South East.

Having built up excellent contacts over the years, Rafael heads up the acquisition department at Gage as well as structures joint ventures, equity and new co-investment opportunities. Rafael manages the ongoing development projects alongside Gavin.

Rafael is a keen golfer as well as enjoys football, skiing and travelling.

Barbara Proc

Personal Assistant & Office Manager

Barbara is PA to the Directors of Gage and is responsible for all administration and secretarial activities within the business.

Her interests include beauty and fashion, health, fitness and personal wellbeing.
